The Material Handler is a key part of Multi-Power's current Production team and is responsible for receiving, maintaining inventory levels and allocation of goods. This position is for a candidate who is detail oriented and loves working in a busy environment!

Position Outline:

• Loading and unloading daily shipping trucks as requested

• Following purchase order instructions to relocate received goods to allocated staging area or inventory locations

• Convey inventory stock level differences of items being restocked to inventory control personnel

• General cleanup of warehouses

• General warehouse organisation daily

• Construction and/or assembly of crates and containers

• Physical inventory counts as directed by inventory control personnel

• Local parts pick-ups

• Coordinating with multiple departments to move and stage manufactured parts

• Assist inventory control personnel when requested with general warehouse duties: order picking and packing, assembling pallet racking and shelving, etc.

General Qualifications:

• Good communication skills

• Good organisational skills

• High School graduate, Grade 12

• Current driver’s license

• Physically fit (routinely required to lift items up to 25 kilograms)

This position is full time Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

There are two paid breaks provided at 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.Lunch is one hour (unpaid) from 12:00-1:00 p.m. daily, dependent on each days' workflow your lunch time may slightly adjust.
