Location: Parkland Middle School, Cranbrook, BC
Contract Type: Part-time Temporary (0.571 FTE)
Salary Range: The starting annual salary for this teaching position ranges from $36,176 to $63,838, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.

Association and School District No. 5 (Southeast Kootenay).
- Preference will be given to applicants with BC Teacher Certification.
- Must have a degree/formal training and/or teaching experience in subjects and at a level specific to each
posting.
Job Summary French Immersion Teacher - Grades 7-8
0.571 FTE temporary contract, starting September 19, 2025 or upon completion of the posting process to June 26, 2026, or return of the incumbent.
Must be bilingual and have a degree/formal training and or teaching experience in French Immersion at the Intermediate level.
This position is scheduled to include Core French 7, 8 and Career Education 7. Please note that all work will be on site.
Please note: Continuing teachers will need to vacate their continuing assignment in order to accept a temporary assignment, unless the FTE is greater in the temporary job posting.
