Are you interested in a Maternity Leave contract working at a family run company that cares about its people? This is an excellent opportunity to support our Production Request team and demonstrate your strong administrative experience in a manufacturing environment. Reporting to the Production Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for a variety of functions related to documentation control, production requests and ERP parts importing; ensuring a high degree of accuracy.

Job Duties

• Process requests for work orders (creating, closing, adjusting quantities, etc.)
• Import new parts into Global Shop ERP
• Process trailer order releases:
  • Import
  • Work order creation
  • Material Review
  • Labour/Material/Parts reports
  • Sticker/Deliver Trailer drawing packages
• Process Engineering Change Notices (ECNs)

Other duties may include

• Filing

• Participating in other training such as Creo, Global Shop and Windchill

• Gathering information and recording findings

• Assisting with shop floor requests

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.

• Previous Global Shop or other ERP experience an asset

• Excellent computer skills – well versed in all MS Office Suites

• Willing to work overtime as required

• Must own reliable transportation and hold a valid driver’s license

• Ability to work independently in a busy environment.

• Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.

• Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.

• Able to work well under pressure.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.

Day Shift hours are 6:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday to Thursday and 6:00 am to 12 noon on Friday
