Role Description: As Miss To Mrs™ continues to grow, we are searching for a Sourcing Manager who is comfortable taking ownership, not just managing tasks. The right person will naturally anticipate supply chain challenges before they arise, ask "why" when order data or supplier performance doesn't add up, and proactively suggest better ways to structure sourcing processes as the business scales. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented and understands how sourcing connects to inventory planning, product development, logistics, compliance, vendor relationships, and overall cost efficiency. This role is not limited to executing existing processes or placing orders. We are looking for someone who can help build a stronger sourcing function by improving how we plan, negotiate, and manage our supplier base while identifying risks early and leading meaningful process improvements across the team.

Responsbilities

Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with organizational goals, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely procurement of goods. Define and analyze KPIs for the Sourcing team, assessing efficiency, capacity, and productivity to drive continuous improvement. Develop a detailed order plan based on projection files to ensure timely and accurate order placement. Lead vendor identification, qualification, and onboarding to build and maintain a diverse, reliable supplier base. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers to secure favorable and sustainable commercial agreements. Collect, validate, and systemize product data into variation files to maintain accurate and traceable product information. Analyze inventory levels and size distribution ratios to determine optimal reorder quantities and ensure balanced stock allocation. Prepare and verify payment model updates, comparing projected plans with actual results to improve forecast accuracy. Continuously review, develop, and update sourcing processes and guidelines to enhance efficiency and overall productivity. Analyze damage statistics and assess packaging methods to ensure safe shipping while minimizing costs. Review and delegate products in the development stage to ensure timely progression through the pipeline.

Review and communicate final cut-off information to the Product Development team

Ensure product compliance with Canadian regulations by monitoring restricted and prohibited ingredients. Prepare and submit regular performance and operational reports for the Logistics team Resolve complex product-related issues, orders, or supply chain processes, identifying and implementing effective solutions. Identify and mitigate potential risks that could impact order planning and supply continuity. Ensure certification requirements are met for relevant items and tasks. Manage, mentor, and develop Sourcing team members, setting clear expectations and supporting professional growth.

Collaborate with Supply Chain teams and other MTM departments

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or adequate work experience of 5+ years with minimum 2 years in a leadership role 3+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role.

Intermediate understanding of the English language - reading, written and spoken

Proven experience developing and executing sourcing strategies in a product-based business environment Experience working with compliance requirements, including knowledge of Canadian regulatory standards for product ingredients and certifications

Skills & Experience

Strong analytical and data management skills, with the ability to interpret inventory data, KPIs, size ratios, and damage statistics to drive decisions. Experience building and maintaining sourcing processes and operational guidelines to improve team efficiency and consistency. Ability to identify, assess, and proactively mitigate supply chain risks before they impact order continuity. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously. Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable pricing, payment terms, and supplier contracts. Proficiency in working with product data systems, variation files, and order planning tools or ERP platforms.

Salary & Working Hours

9am - 6pm in your local time Salary: $1,700 - $2,000 monthly USD This is a remote job the candidate can be based anywhere.
