About the role
The Sales Representative specializing in the sale of materials characterization instrumentation is responsible for the direct sales and promotion of Anton Paar’s instruments within the assigned territory. The main responsibilities include effectively managing existing customers and generating new business opportunities by establishing new customer contacts.
Responsibilities:
Direct B2B sales of the following laboratory instrumentation in Northwestern Italy (Lombardy, Piedmont, Liguria, and Aosta Valley): particle size analyzers, porosimeters, BET analyzers, X-ray diffraction (XRD) systems, indentation, scratch testing, and tribology instruments. Manage existing customers and develop new business opportunities in the assigned area by presenting the company’s solutions and increasing brand awareness. Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
Your profile:
Residence in the Turin, Novara, Alessandria, Milan, or Pavia area. University degree in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, or Chemical Engineering, Physical Engineering, Bioengineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field. 3–5 years of sales experience. Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills. Dynamic, results-oriented mindset. Strong ability to build and maintain customer relationships. Good command of English (minimum B2 level). Valid Category B driving license.
Previous experience in the sales of scientific instrumentation and/or in materials characterization will be considered an advantage.
