About the Role:
We are hiring a Cloud Advisor. As a Cloud Advisor at OpsGuru, you are the engine of our sales pipeline, responsible for driving growth through proactive outbound outreach. You work at the early stages of the sales cycle, focusing on identifying high-potential leads and securing initial meetings for our Account Executives (AEs). This role requires a strategic approach to prospecting, where you use deep research and personalized messaging to build trust and establish long-term customer relationships from the very first touchpoint. You act as a critical partner to the Account Executive team, collaborating closely to define qualification standards and ensure a seamless handoff of qualified opportunities.
This role is a hybrid role with 3 days working from our downtown Toronto office on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
What you will be doing:
- Strategic Prospecting: Conduct thorough research using tools such as LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, and Enlyft to build a "mosaic" of information on both public and private companies, including their products, target customers, and recent news.
- Personalized Outreach: Develop and execute multi-channel outreach campaigns—including cold calling, email, and social selling, tailored to each prospect's specific priorities, industry nuances, and likely challenges.
- Lead Qualification & Pipeline Management: Identify leads that align with OpsGuru’s Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) to ensure efficient use of time and high-quality pipeline growth.
- Collaboration & Handoff: Partner with AEs through weekly syncs to prioritize prospect lists and provide comprehensive pre-sales briefings to prepare AEs for initial customer meetings.
- Meeting Coordination: Schedule the first and second meetings between leads and AEs, manage calendars, and provide introductions to kick off successful discovery calls.
- Data Integrity: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in HubSpot by leveraging list enrichment, uploading contact templates, and tracking outreach activities.
- Compliance: Ensure all electronic communications comply with applicable legislation, including Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) and National Do Not Call List (DNCL) requirements.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Experience in Outbound Sales: Proven ability in outbound prospecting, including cold calling, email sequencing, and social selling.
- Research & Analytical Skills: Proficiency in leveraging account intelligence tools (e.g., ZoomInfo, HubSpot, Gong, and AI tools) to uncover prospect pain points and areas for growth.
- Exceptional Communication: Strong conversational skills with the ability to turn a pitch into a natural dialogue, using relatable examples like case studies and testimonials to lead with value.
- Organizational Excellence: Ability to manage multiple tasks, from list enrichment and CRM management to coordinating complex schedules for internal and external stakeholders.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to segment prospects by industry or use case to deliver more relevant and impactful messaging.
- Collaboration: A team-player mindset with experience working closely with Account Executives to meet shared pipeline goals.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with CASL and other communication regulations to ensure professional and compliant outreach.
