Accounts Payable (AP) and Account Receivable (AR) Associate
Job Description & Key responsibilities: An Accounts Payable (AP) and (AR) Associate is responsible for managing an organization's financial obligations by processing invoices, verifying transactions, and ensuring timely payments to vendors and suppliers. This role is crucial in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the overall financial health of the company.
Specific responsibilities include: Assist with daily operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management and Cash Application AP. Expense Reports: Manage and process all employee expense reports whiles identifying areas of risk or opportunity. Invoice Processing: Receive, review, and process invoices for goods and services, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Payment Management: Prepare and execute payment runs, including checks, electronic transfers, and ACH payments, ensuring timely disbursement to vendors. Reconciliation: Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances Vendor Relations: Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies, answer inquiries, and maintain positive relationships. Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and organized financial records, including ledgers and journals, for auditing and reporting purposes. Compliance: Ensure all accounts payable activities comply with relevant financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirement AR. Payment Collection: Monitoring outstanding invoices and following up on overdue payments. Cash Application: Applying payments received from customers to the correct invoices. Customer Service: Responding to customer inquiries regarding invoices and payments. Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of all invoices and payments. SAP Business One or SAP FICO experience preferred.
Skills & Qualification: The successful candidate is a highly motivated, enthusiastic and dynamic team player who is resourceful and dedicated and has competencies in adapting to changing environments.
Competencies: At least 3 years relevant experience. University degree or equivalent. Proficient computer skills. Excellent communication skills (written and oral). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good understanding of Accounting software and systems. Developed interpersonal skills, good team player. Superior organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and deadlines, works well under pressure and has a sense of urgency. Maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to keep financial information confidential and demonstrate a high level of integrity. The successful candidate will be interested in the business and have hands-on approach and be involved with reshaping the business.
Salary is between $50,000 - $55,000 per year and will be based on skillset and experience.
