JOB TITLE: Talent Acquisition Coordinator

About Us Nasittuq Corporation (from the Inuktitut word meaning “looking out from the highest point”) operates and maintains the North Warning System (NWS), a critical joint Canada-US radar network with 47 sites across Northern Canada.

This role plays a key role in supporting the recruitment lifecycle and ensuring a seamless experience for candidates and hiring teams.
Please note: This will be hired as a 1 year term posi tion What You’ll Do
- Screen, short-list and conduct initial assessments of applicants, present qualified candidates to hiring teams
- Draft job descriptions and postings in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and post to relevant job boards
- Coordinate all interview logistics including scheduling, credential collection and initiation of the security clearance process while supporting candidates throughout the process
- Prepare and send employment offer packages to successful candidates
- Act as a key liaison between candidate and internal stakeholders, ensuring a professional experience
- Maintain the ATS to ensure all candidate records and requisitions are accurate, up-to-date and compliant
Who You Are
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in talent acquisition or a related Human Resources role
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related discipline; a combination of education and experience will be considered
- HR designation, or working towards HR designation (e.g. CHRP) is an asset
- Proven experience in drafting postings, using job boards, screening candidates and preparing employment contracts
- Ability to work on-site at our office in Ottawa is required

These organizations Include: Inuvialuit Development Corporation (IDC); Nunasi Corporation; Makivik Corporation; the Nunatsiavut Group of Companies (NGC); Qikiqtaaluk Corporation; Sakku Investments Corporation, and Kitikmeot Corporation. PAIL’s first initiative was to pursue the award of the North Warning System operations and maintenance contract through a Joint Venture with ATCO Frontec.
