About the role

We are looking for an enterprise applications analyst to join our information systems (IS) team. In this role, you will analyze and validate the business needs of project stakeholders and translate those business needs to successful implementation in enterprise level systems, introducing AI-driven capabilities where appropriate. You will configure applications and systems and provide direction on the best use of these systems to enable business users to be successful. You will be responsible for the operation of application systems, including ensuring all supporting infrastructure is properly configured, supported, and documented. You will work with other business systems developers, software developers, systems administrators, business analysts and end users to ensure our application systems are processing data correctly, available according to service level agreements and updated to meet functionality and efficiency requirements.

Your role will focus on daily operations as a priority, ensuring systems are meeting or exceeding service levels in terms of performance, capacity and availability. You will function as a subject matter expert for multiple applications and systems. Additionally, you will be responsible for application configuration, testing, enhancement, upgrades and development. This role requires strong analytical, communication and documentation skills.

You will

  • Deliver application support for NetSuite, Jira, HubSpot - both operational and project-based. Prior experience is considered an asset but is not a requirement for this role
  • Resolve user incident tickets and fulfill service requests related to applications and systems according to the applicable service level
  • Follow our corporate change process for all application and system changes
  • Maintain a high level of end user satisfaction through prompt and courteous communication
  • Participate in research on software and hardware products to support strategic planning of applications
  • Analyze user and functional system requirements and identify conflicts
  • Work with project teams to prioritize collected requirements
  • Write functional requirement specifications using standard templates following industry standards
  • Assist in the development of operational level agreements with other IS and business teams, as well as vendor agreements
  • Maintain application configuration documentation
  • Provide subject matter expertise and ad-hoc training to IS and business teams as required
  • Initiate application and system lifecycle upgrade projects when required
  • Translate requirement specifications into application configurations for applications and systems
  • Create specifications, diagrams and charts to provide direction to the developers and project teams
  • Develop working prototypes to support requirements definitions
  • Support the roll out of project and application or system enhancements
  • Communicate changes, enhancements and modifications to project managers, sponsors and other stakeholders
  • Facilitate data imports/export, data cleansing and data integrity projects in conjunction with data analysts
  • Work with team members to develop ad-hoc reports as requested by user groups or stakeholders and perform analysis on data as required. Power BI experience is considered an asset.
  • Communicate regularly with business users to support them in their role and provide information and training on new features and functionality

You have

  • Experience with one or more of the following: NetSuite Administration, Jira Administration, HubSpot Administration
  • Database experience
  • Programing knowledge with PowerShell, JavaScript and SuiteScript experience as an asset
  • A degree, diploma or certification in the field of computer science or information systems
  • 2-4 years’ experience supporting server-based applications and software as a service (SaaS) applications
  • In depth knowledge of one or more CRM, document management, reporting, sales, marketing and development applications.
  • Proven experience with development or scripting languages
  • A strong desire to provide superior customer service
  • Experience with business and technical requirements analysis
  • A history of working with a multi-disciplinary team within a defined Project Lifecycle Management framework
  • Proven experience creating systems analysis and support processes
  • Great task management skills
  • An ability to create documentation in both technical and user-friendly language
  • A desire to work in a team-oriented collaborative environment
  • A willingness to work after hours when required to execute and manage changes in production environments
  • An ability to work in an on-call rotation, if required
