About the role
- Administer all aspects of the Accounts Receivable function such as distribution of invoices, create and enter tooling related invoices, applying cash receipts, following up with customers, communicating the status of past due invoice and preparing monthly reports as required.
- Responsible for updating selling prices, variance analysis of sales adjustment, production and OH accounts, DMN, and updating of various logs.
- Maintain daily bank reconciliations, process intercompany invoices and month-end intercompany transactions.
- Co-ordinate the monthly closing of all A/R sub-ledgers in the G/L.
- Prepare and enter the month-end journal entries.
- Complete account reconciliations as assigned.
- Assist in reviewing the requisition log.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end audit package.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts.
- Responsible for archiving records/documents and maintain archive database relating to AR and Tooling.
- Follow all departmental and general procedures where applicable.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager and/or Department Manager, including providing back up for other functions in the department and strengthen segregation of duties.
- Abide by all company safety rules, responsibilities, policies, and procedures including the legislative requirements of the OHSA.
- Work in compliance and conform to the Environment and ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 standards.
- Adopt and practice Kaizen principles; participate in Kaizen and GEAR activities.
