About the role

A career as a Senior Analyst – Exchange-traded Funds Valuation on the Rating & Valuation team at National Bank means contributing to the achievement of various deliverables by working in synergy with your team. Your leadership, experience in derivatives, the exchange-traded fund ecosystem and financial knowledge will have a positive impact on the client experience.

Your job

  • Specialize in exchange-traded funds for the sector
  • Analyze complex products held in exchange-traded funds
  • Participate in the daily appraisal of exchange-traded funds
  • Provide specialised advice to all parties involved
  • Help open and integrate new funds exchange traded
  • Effectively manage stakeholders (internal and external)
  • Train colleagues to ensure their own succession (be a mentor)
  • Anticipate problems and develop solutions to mitigate risks
  • Implement control mechanisms
  • Participate in the various large-scale projects in the sector

Your team

Investment Funds Administration and Tax activities you are part of a team of 19 colleagues and report to the manager of the Rating & Evaluation team. Our team stands out for its dynamism, efficiency in delivering daily deliverables and expertise in the investment funds and financial products they hold.

Prerequisites

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5 years of relevant experience or any other combination of education and experience deemed equivalent
  • CFA designation completed or in the process of being obtained
  • Knowledge of mutual and exchange-traded funds
  • Knowledge of industry practises for derivatives
  • In-depth knowledge of Excel
  • Leadership rigour
  • Critical mindset focused on problem solving

Languages:

English, French
