Job Description We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Process Engineer at Irving Paper, located in Saint John, New Brunswick.
Responsibilities As a Process Engineer , you will be responsible for providing optimal improvements of mill processes. This shall include, but not limited to, troubleshooting processes, analyzing trends and data, and indentifying root cause and solutions for improvements. Focusing on driving technical excellence and establishing improved standards of operations are the vision for this job.
Qualifications
- Education required - Bachelor of Engineering degree (Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical), or an Engineering Technology diploma in a related field with relevant experience
- Years of Experience Required - 0-10 years of engineering experience in an industrial environment
- Well-developed organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Understands and can demonstrate analytical problem solving and decision making
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Curious, persistent problem solver with natural tendency to ask questions
- Mechanically inclined with the ability to figure out how things work
- Strong focus on safety and process improvements
- Strong leadership skills
- Possesses drive, initiative and works well in cross functional teams
