About The Role
This is a newly created and exciting opportunity for an experienced clinician to step into a pivotal strategic leadership role at Lutheran Homes Group. As our Manager Funding Optimisation & Care Planning, you will lead LHG's Australian National Aged Care Classification (AN-ACC) funding strategy across our SA and Victorian residential care sites ensuring our funding outcomes truly reflect the quality and complexity of care we deliver every day.
Leading a small dedicated team, you will work closely with clinical teams and Residential General Managers to drive meaningful improvements in care planning, clinical documentation, and funding classification while building internal capability across the organisation. Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a small team, fostering a culture of clinical excellence and continuous improvement Lead LHG's AN-ACC funding optimisation strategy, identifying uplift opportunities and monitoring performance across all homes Partner with clinical teams to ensure care planning and documentation practices support optimal funding classification outcomes Provide strategic input into admissions decisions to optimise funding mix and financial sustainability Develop dashboards and deliver regular reporting and benchmarking insights to senior leaders Build capability across clinical and operational teams on AN-ACC principles and documentation excellence Ensure ongoing compliance with AN-ACC requirements and keep across regulatory changes
What You Will Need
Current Registered Nurse registration
Extensive AN-ACC funding and assessment experience Strong understanding of care planning and clinical documentation in residential aged care Demonstrated experience in funding optimisation or a similar strategic function Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills Multi-site aged care experience and postgraduate qualifications in health management (desirable) Experience leading or mentoring a team (desirable) Occasional interstate travel may be required
NDIS Worker Clearance. In line with current health guidelines for the aged care sector, candidates are strongly encouraged to be up to date with all recommended vaccinations.
