About the role
Join our vibrant medical community of 20 family physicians, each contributing their unique expertise! Whether it's low-risk obstetrics, emergency medicine, or surgical assisting, our team is dedicated to providing comprehensive care. We are especially proud of our addiction medicine program, where a team of family physicians manages the outpatient opioid agonist therapy clinic—and we’d love to welcome another passionate physician to the group. Excitingly, we are also establishing an outpatient detox unit to further support our patients.
Our family physicians actively oversee inpatient care at the hospital, collaborating seamlessly with internal medicine, general surgery, and psychiatry. Working closely with Indigenous peoples, who represent a significant part of our local population, will be an integral and rewarding aspect of your practice.
We are committed to education and mentorship, hosting a thriving residency program with two residents per year and welcoming two medical students annually through an integrated clerkship program. While teaching opportunities are available, they are entirely optional.
If you're passionate about community-based medicine and eager to contribute to healthcare in our community, apply now!
