About the role

Job Description

As a Producer at Ubi Quebec, you will play a key role in the steering committee while managing development and production teams to deliver a high-quality gaming experience aligned with the assigned mandate. You will synchronize production objectives with the product vision while fostering a rigorous structure and cultivating a culture of accountability, collaboration, iteration, and player-centered value. Collaborating closely with the Creation, Product, and Technology teams, you will drive the necessary actions to meet the priorities of the project while exercising positive leadership to mobilize and guide teams in evolving production methodologies.

What you’ll do:

  • Define and implement effective and efficient production processes to ensure optimal execution, controlled scope management, risk evaluation, budget adherence, and deliverables.

  • Establish robust monitoring tools (dashboards, KPIs, etc.) and rituals that foster quick and engaging communication for teams, managers, stakeholders, and the steering committee.

  • Actively contribute to developing a product-oriented culture and ROI by initiating rituals, development programs, and actions to guide the teams for the project.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by actively developing talents and creating a dynamic environment focused on learning and evolution within the teams.

  • Plan and coordinate team growth in production according to development phases and budgetary constraints while ensuring structured onboarding of diverse roles.

  • Structure and evolve production team functions by clarifying roles and responsibilities and continuously monitoring productivity and team well-being.

  • Build a high-performing team dynamic that is collaborative and engaging, where every member feels valued, empowered, and supported in their professional growth.

  • Collaborate closely with Creation, Product, and Technology teams to anticipate needs and prioritize production solutions.

  • Actively participate in strategic decisions regarding the project as part of the steering committee.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in production management, preferably in video games or a creative industry.
  • Recognized leadership expertise with the ability to guide and inspire development teams.
  • Strong understanding of challenges related to cultural transformation.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with creative, technology, and production profiles.
  • Deep curiosity and demonstrated ability to mobilize teams around ambitious product visions.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and change management skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools like Jira, Confluence, etc.
