WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL?

  • A results-driven mindset with the ability to consistently meet weekly and monthly sales and vacancy targets
  • Strong leadership skills to ensure leasing consultants adhere to company standards and deliver exceptional service
  • Goal-setting expertise to establish clear weekly and monthly objectives for the team
  • A passion for coaching and mentoring, helping leasing consultants maximize their performance
  • Attention to detail when inspecting vacant suites and coordinating with Operations to maintain “100% Rent Ready” status
  • A commitment to maintaining model suites to showcase the highest standards of presentation
  • Strategic thinking to contribute to the development and execution of leasing strategies across your portfolio
  • Analytical skills to conduct quarterly market surveys, interpret data, and provide pricing and market insights to senior management
  • Market awareness to perform mystery shop visits and stay informed about competitor offerings
  • The ability to gather and share demographic insights and customer feedback to support targeted advertising campaigns
  • Creativity and initiative to coordinate open-house programs and implement impactful marketing initiatives
  • Flexibility to perform all core Leasing Consultant duties while effectively supervising one or more team members

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Our Sales/Leasing team manages the full lead/leasing cycle, including greeting and qualifying customers on the phone, email and in-person, managing guest cards, showing suites, applying product knowledge, to final approved application. You lead by example in a fast-paced leasing environment, mentoring the team to sharpen their sales skills, set clear goals, and achieve collective success while driving performance across your portfolio.

Education and Experience:

  • Degree/diploma and/or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience focused in sales
  • Exposure to leasing & sales in a multi-residential or related industry would be an asset
  • 1-3 years proven history of success in a sales environment
  • Experience in a leadership role managing a sales team preferred
  • Proven experience in coaching and mentoring others to grow and succeed
  • Displays a genuine desire to help prospects in finding a new home and to help others grow and develop their skills
  • Takes initiative and makes suggestions for improving performance
  • Flexible and adaptable to constantly changing needs within the organization
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Yardi would be an asset

Qualifications:

  • A demonstrated a high degree of integrity, diplomacy, discretion and confidentiality
  • Ability to accurately listen, understand and respond appropriately
  • Ability to work and act independently using good judgment when assessing difficult situations
  • Self-motivated individual who takes initiative, is goal and results oriented
  • Superior organizational and time management skills in order to multi-task/prioritize and work under tight timelines and meet multiple deadlines
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities
  • Superior attention to detail and accuracy, and excellent follow-up skills
  • Excellent communication is required. Ability to speak other languages is considered an asset
  • A professional demeanor with strong communication skills
