We are Canada's largest independent information technology services firm, and after 45 years, we're still growing! Join Canada's largest IT Company as a "OpenText Exstream & Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Developer" in our Banking Services Division.
Location - Downtown Toronto (Hybrid - 4 days office and 1 day remote)
We are looking for a Senior Consultant with proven expertise in OpenText Exstream development as well as deep experience across Enterprise Content Management (ECM) platforms. The ideal candidate combines hands-on technical capability with the ability to design and integrate solutions across large-scale enterprise environments. This role requires someone who can deliver at the code/template level while also contributing to platform architecture, governance, and enterprise integration.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end design, development, and deployment of OpenText Exstream solutions that support high-volume, multi-channel communication delivery.
- Build and maintain advanced Exstream templates for multiple output formats including PDF, AFP, HTML, XML, and CSV.
- Perform data mapping and transformation from structured input sources such as XML, columnar data, and EBCDIC into dynamic, reusable templates.
- Implement complex formulas, rules, and functions to enable personalization, conditional rendering, and automation of customer communications.
- Design and manage complex multi-level tables with subsections and conditional layouts to meet sophisticated reporting and document generation needs.
- Work across ECM platforms (e.g., OpenText Content Server, Documentum, FileNet, SharePoint, or similar) to ensure seamless integration of Exstream-generated content with enterprise workflows, archiving, and compliance frameworks.
- Support platform governance by defining standards for template lifecycle management, version control, and security.
- Partner with business and IT stakeholders to translate communication requirements into scalable, maintainable platform solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring, helping teams adopt best practices in Exstream development and ECM platform utilization.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Strong hands-on development expertise with OpenText Exstream (5+ years preferred).

Solid understanding of document composition, batch/on-demand processing, and output management.

Demonstrated experience with ECM platforms and ability to integrate Exstream with repositories, workflows, and archival systems.

Expertise in data mapping/transformation and handling of diverse input and output formats.

Strong grasp of platform-level architecture (security, compliance, scalability, governance).

Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with business stakeholders and enterprise architects.
