Job Overview Part-time position working in Glaucoma and Optometry clinics assessing low vision patients and refracting adults and paediatric patients.
Main duties of the job Core Optometry clinics, and working alongside Doctors, Orthoptists, Nurses and Technicians as part of an Optometry and Glaucoma Team
Working for our organisation The Eye Unit has 10 Consultant Ophthalmologists, Specialist Doctors, Nurses, Optometrists, Orthoptists and Technicians who work together to assess and treat patients with eye problems.

Person specification Essential Essential criteria
- Optometry Degree
- GOC Registration
- Further qualifications in Glaucoma
Desirable Desirable criteria
- Previous experience in Glaucoma clinics
- Previous experience with paediatric cycloplegic refraction
- Previous experience dispensing low vision aids
