Role Summary
The Cybersecurity Solutions Architect supports the design, positioning, and delivery of cybersecurity solutions across client engagements.
This role operates across solution architecture, sales engineering, and advisory functions. It works closely with account teams and delivery teams to shape practical, well-scoped, and technically sound solutions that align to client needs and can be successfully delivered.
The role is hands-on and client-facing, with a focus on executing within established standards and contributing to consistent, high-quality outcomes across engagements.
Core Responsibilities:
Solution Architecture & Design

Design cybersecurity solutions across identity, endpoint, cloud, network, and email security domains
-
Apply established reference architectures and design standards to client environments
-
Produce clear and structured solution designs, diagrams, and supporting documentation
-
Ensure solutions are practical, implementable, and aligned to client constraints
Sales Engineering & Pre-Sales Support

Support discovery sessions to understand client requirements, risks, and current-state environments
-
Translate requirements into structured solution approaches and recommendations
-
Contribute to proposals, RFP responses, and client presentations
-
Support development of Statements of Work (SOWs), including scope, assumptions, and dependencies
-
Participate in technical workshops and solution discussions with client stakeholders
Advisory & Client Engagement

Support client engagements through workshops, assessments, and solution discussions
-
Provide practical guidance aligned to frameworks such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework and the Center for Internet Security Critical Security Controls (CIS Controls)

Assist in translating technical findings into actionable recommendations
-
Contribute to the development of client roadmaps and improvement plans
Delivery Support & Alignment
-
Work with delivery teams to ensure a smooth transition from design to implementation
-
Support validation of implemented solutions against intended architecture
-
Assist with troubleshooting and resolving design-related issues during delivery
-
Contribute to documentation and knowledge transfer activities
Incident Readiness & Tabletop Exercises
-
Support the design and execution of cybersecurity tabletop exercises
-
Participate in facilitating technical and operational scenarios
-
Assist in documenting findings and identifying gaps in incident response capabilities
-
Contribute to recommendations that improve client readiness and response processes
Vendor & Technology Alignment
-
Work with key technologies including CrowdStrike, Netskope, Proofpoint, Microsoft, and related platforms
-
Support integration of vendor technologies into broader solution designs
-
Stay current on relevant cybersecurity tools, trends, and capabilities
Practice Contribution & Continuous Improvement

Contribute to development of templates, diagrams, and reference materials
-
Support standardization of solution design practices
-
Share knowledge and lessons learned across the team
-
Continuously improve technical and advisory capabilities
Qualifications:
Experience
-
3–7 years of experience in cybersecurity, solutions architecture, or technical pre-sales
-
Experience supporting client-facing engagements in consulting or services environments
-
Exposure to both design and implementation of security solutions
Technical Expertise
-
Working knowledge across:
- Identity and access management
- Endpoint security and EDR/XDR
- Cloud security (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Network security and SSE concepts (ZTNA, SWG)
- Email security and threat protection
-
Familiarity with common security frameworks such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework, the Center for Internet Security Critical Security Controls (CIS Controls), and ISO 27001
Professional Skills

Strong communication skills with ability to engage technical stakeholders

Ability to structure and present technical solutions clearly

Comfortable working across multiple teams and priorities

Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
Education & Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience

Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, AZ-500, SC-200, or vendor certifications are an asset
