We are currently looking for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our Sudbury team.
JOB DESCRIPTION
UN OVERVIEW OF THE MANDATE :
- Receive and dispatch goods, including unloading deliveries and verifying contents.
- Prepare, package, label, and document outgoing shipments.
- Pick and prepare items for orders.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
- Operate forklifts and other handling equipment safely.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external carriers to ensure timely shipments.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow safety guidelines and company policies.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
GENERAL SKILLS
YOU ARE THE PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR IF :
- Relevant experience in a purchasing, parts, or shipping/receiving department
- Excellent computer skills
- A valid driver’s license (DZ license an asset)
- Forklift operator certification
- Bilingualism (an asset)
- Strong attention to detail
- Good organizational and time management skills
- The ability to explain things clearly and concisely
- A strong sense of teamwork
