AMI Attachments is a leading manufacturer of heavy equipment attachments, committed to innovation, quality, and customer success. As we scale for our next stage of growth, we’re seeking a strategic, operationally minded Senior Director of Finance & IT to lead two critical pillars of our business.

JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Director of Finance & IT will be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for aligning financial strategy and technology infrastructure to support AMI’s long-term vision. This role combines financial stewardship with digital transformation leadership, ensuring that systems, data, and capital are optimized for performance, scalability, and innovation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Finance Leadership

  • Lead company-wide financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for all Departments across AMI.
  • Oversee cash flow management, capital allocation, and cost optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and robust internal controls.
  • Partner with the CEO and COO on strategic decisions and growth initiatives.
  • Support M&A analysis, investment planning, and business case development.

IT & Digital Leadership

  • Develop and execute a technology roadmap aligned with business strategy.
  • Oversee ERP systems, infrastructure, and vendor relationships.
  • Lead digital transformation to improve operational efficiency and data visibility.
  • Ensure strong data governance, secure system integration, and analytics capabilities.
  • Manage the IT team and external partners to deliver scalable, reliable solutions.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate with Operations, Product, HR, Sales, and Marketing to align processes, data, and reporting.

  • Drive change management and continuous improvement across departments.

  • Build, mentor, and retain high-performing teams across Finance and IT.

Education, Knowledge and skills Requirements

Qualifications

  • CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred; exceptional financial acumen required.

  • Proven success in a senior finance role with oversight of IT or digital systems.

  • Experience in manufacturing/industrial or mid-market growth environments.

  • Strong understanding of ERP ecosystems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, SAP; Salesforce familiarity an asset).

  • Demonstrated track record leading cross-functional initiatives and delivering measurable outcomes.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
