About The Role Articling students following the Assurance, Compilation and Tax (ACT) path at Manning Elliott LLP will gain hands-on experience working directly with our tax experts. Students will be able to engage in a variety of tax-related projects, with a focus on compliance as well as research and planning. This path is ideal for individuals who have a keen interest in tax and want to specialize in this area.

Students will have the unique opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients including high net worth families, farming operations, real estate ownership and development, non-profit organizations and charities, information technology, oil & gas, mining companies and software development companies.

Purpose Of Role

  • To complete the CPA Professional Education Program under the Assurance, Compilation, Tax (ACT) path and successfully pass all Modules
  • Is responsible for learning and applying technical skills and working as part of a team carrying out tasks under close coaching and supervision

Reports To Manager/Senior Manager/Partner

  • Candidates must complete an undergraduate degree and cover specific subject areas and prerequisites of the CPA Professional Education Program
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
