This position is required to work in person at 3330 Harvester Road, Burlington. Work location is subject to change at the discretion of the City due to operational demands.
Position Overview
This position is responsible for providing support to the Roads, Parks & Forestry Department, with emphasis on the Vehicle Maintenance and Business Services teams. This position will utilize existing and new technologies that will be introduced in 2026 to carry out a wide range of administrative, technology and business functions.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible to:
- Provide a wide range of technological, computer and administrative services, which may include support for confidential issues.
- Assist senior staff involved in projects with administration and support.
- Provide support in certain administrative tasks on behalf of the department including:

- Asset management
- Records retention
- Data entry
- Inventory management
Requirements
You are a recent graduate or currently enrolled in a post secondary program in Technology, Engineering, or Business. This is coupled with strong computer skills, specifically with the Microsoft Office programs and programs in the Windows Environment. Experience with asset/enterprise management software is considered an asset. You possess strong communication skills, work well with deadlines, demonstrate initiative and work with minimal direction.
