####Propane Cylinder Delivery Driver (Class 3)

Battlefield Equipment Rentals (a division of Toromont Industries Ltd.), one of Canada’s premiere Construction Rental Companies, presently requires aClass 3 Propane Cylinder Delivery Driverat ourCharlottetownlocation. Our Charlottetown location is a fast-paced and team-oriented facility that places a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction. Our driver positions are our direct link between our staff and our on-site customers, and are a key requirement in maintaining and developing successful relationships with these customers. **Job Types:**Full-time, Permanent

Wage:$20.00-$24.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer relations in a fast-paced, high-tempo work environment;
• Fill propane tanks for daily delivery as well as customer tanks at the branch;
• Daily truck pre-trip inspection;
• Assist yard and counter staff with various tasks while at the branch
• secure tanks and equipment for delivery
• Deliver and pick up rental equipment and tools at customer sites;
• verify equipment condition upon return
• Ensure all loads are loaded, unloaded and secured properly;
• Communicate regularly with dispatch regarding any updates or changes in scheduling;
• Update log books as needed;
• Responsible for providing excellent customer service when on job sites;
• Report any and all damages to the manager;
• Prepare for following day deliveries; fuel truck, wash if needed, and load equipment.
• On-call or after-hours work where required, flexible shift hours;

Key Qualifications:

• Professional customer service skills and good communication;
• Existing knowledge of construction equipment and building products;
• Ability to work independently and affinity with time management and organization;
• Prior experience and familiarity in all aspects of safe driving practices, including tying and securing all types of loads;
• Applicant must be able to perform heavy lifting, as it will be required frequently;
• Technical aptitude of CAT equipment and operations would be considered an asset;
• Prior experience with both TRAC operation and Systematics would be considered an asset
• Appropriate class licensing for a Class 3 driving position, with a clean driver’s abstract
