Could you be the full-time Head of Traction Power in Toronto, ON, we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your electrification and project management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic, collaborative, and forward-thinking teammates.
You'll ensure the successful delivery of electrification projects, driving safety, quality, and performance across all phas es of the project lifecycle. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across engineering, construction, and customer operations, manage interfaces with stakeholders, and champion risk and opportunity management strategies, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of leading and coordinating electrification activities and stakeholders, including Overhead Catenary Systems (OCS) and Power Supply (POS) subsystems, but also optimizing electrification financial performance (margin and cash).
We’ll look to you for:
- Ensuring safety, EHS (Environment, Health & Safety), and compliance requirements are fully implemented within the electrification scope of works
- Planning, monitoring, and controlling end-to-end electrification activities, including scope, schedule, resources, cost, and risks
- Leading the electrification strategy definition in line with contract requirements
- Managing interfaces with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, consultants, and partners
- Driving resource management and fostering collaboration across multi-site teams
- Ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to project KPIs, including Design for Quality (DFQ) milestones

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related scientific field
- Professional Engineer designation as per Canadian regulations
- Master's Degree in Business Administration and/or Project Management (desirable)
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in railroad electrification project management, including critical brownfield projects
- Experience in managing and coordinating engineering services related to rail systems
- Proficiency in project management processes and railway products/systems
- Leadership and team management skills, with experience coordinating multi-site teams
- Strong customer relationship management and advanced negotiation skills
- Resilience, problem-solving ability, and an entrepreneurial mindset
