Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, and a member of the ten-person senior leadership team, the Vice President, Global Sales oversees a team of 100. This includes Reservations, Group Sales, Sales Managers and teams across global markets, and a Sales Operations group providing support, training and enablement. A significant sales channel for the organization is through partners like travel agents across the globe.
The ideal candidate will be an accomplished sales leader with a proven record of building, developing and inspiring high-performing commercial teams. With management experience in medium-to-large organizations going through growth, the new VP will bring experience with both inside and outside sales teams. Experience in hospitality/tourism is a definite asset; global sales experience, especially in the USA and major markets across EMEA and APAC. The new VP will be a motivating and empowering people leader with a reputation for innovation and enhancing business excellence. Demonstrating humility, curiosity, and integrity at all times, the VP will take pride in doing what is right – for staff and for customers.
