Application Support Analyst (Level 3) – 3 Month Contract Work Model: Hybrid (4 days onsite required, 1 remote) Locations: Any of the main offices: Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver, Montreal, Ottawa
Position Overview Our client is seeking an experienced Application Support Analyst (Level 3) to join their technology team on a 3-month contract. This role is suited for a highly analytical and technically skilled professional who excels in troubleshooting complex application issues, optimizing business systems, and delivering solutions in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting critical legal and business applications, investigating complex technical challenges, improving workflows, and ensuring system reliability. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance application performance, streamline processes, and support ongoing technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities Provide advanced Level 3 application support for enterprise and legal technology platforms. Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex application, integration, and data-related issues. Perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions to improve system stability. Monitor application performance and identify opportunities for enhancements and optimization. Analyze existing business processes and recommend workflow improvements. Support integrations between various enterprise platforms, including: Document management systems such as iManage Financial and billing applications Internal business applications and data environments Create, maintain, and optimize SQL queries for reporting, troubleshooting, and data analysis. Develop and support workflow automation solutions using Microsoft Power Automate. Partner with development and technology teams to deliver system fixes, enhancements, and improvements. Ensure applications adhere to organizational standards related to security, compliance, and data governance. Maintain technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications & Experience 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise applications, systems analysis, or application administration. Demonstrated experience providing senior-level (L3) technical support. Strong SQL skills with the ability to analyze and manipulate data. Hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies, including: Power Apps Power Automate Microsoft Azure Previous experience supporting applications within the legal industry. Experience working with platforms such as: iManage Intapp or Elite Litera Strong troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Experience supporting APIs, integrations, and interconnected enterprise systems. Ability to operate effectively within complex, regulated environments. Strong ability to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Preferred Qualifications Experience with scripting, automation, or light application development. Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric or other business intelligence/reporting platforms. Background in business analysis, process improvement, or workflow optimization. Relevant technical certifications are considered an asset.
