About the role
This is a part-time seasonal position at the RBC Amphitheatre in Toronto, Ontario. Employment will last until mid to late October and the hours will vary each week. Shifts are usually in the evenings throughout the week, with a few full-day events scheduled. Must be able to work all event days/evenings when needed. This position requires the ability to work past midnight for most events.
Listed are some of the key responsibilities and duties required of a Floor Supervisor:
- Floor Supervisors will work directly with all Managers to ensure that food and beverage services provided by Legends, meet or exceed our Guest’s and Client’s expectations and that employees are adhering to all health and safety policies.
- Floor Supervisors are responsible for overseeing Concessions and Bars within their assigned section.
- Maintain a positive and proactive attitude, foreseeing any potential problems before they occur.
- Will assist with handling guest and/or employee relations (complaints, disagreements, alcohol violations, etc.).
- Will assist employees with smooth operations from opening to closing of their assigned stands.
- Ensuring all staff are adhering to all the in house and AGCO alcohol policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Conduct physical audit of inventory when needed, research and perform reconciliations.Ensure all required paperwork at a location is completed accurately every event.
- Assist with miscellaneous duties to support department efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be a quick learner.
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced, team orientated setting.
- Previous supervising experience required.
- Knowledge and experience working with a POS system an asset.
- Customer service and communication.
- Must be personable, proactive, and self-motivated.
- Able to adapt to change quickly.
- Punctual and dependable.
- Must have a valid Smart Serve.
- Must be available to work days, evenings and weekends when needed.
Pay rate: $23 per hour
