Variable pay: $70,000 – $90,000 at target

Role Summary
As an Account Executive (Hunter), you are responsible for originating and closing net-new business for Project X. You will focus on identifying, pursuing, and winning new client logos through a highly consultative, value-based sales approach.
This role is designed for an experienced, polished seller who thrives in ambiguity, is comfortable opening doors at the executive level, and can shape complex opportunities from first conversation through signed agreement. You will identify, pursue, and ultimately close opportunities by building trusted relationships, leading executive-level discovery, and partnering closely with internal leadership and technical experts.
This role does not include responsibility for managing existing accounts post-close (you are a hunter not a farmer). Your mandate is growth.
What You’ll Do
- Drive net-new client acquisition
- Create pipeline through outbound, relationships, partners, and thought leadership
- Lead executive-level discovery and opportunity qualification
- Shape solutions in partnership with technical and delivery leaders
- Own the full sales cycle for new logos, from first conversation to close
- Forecast pipeline and communicate progress and risks to leadership
What You Bring
- 8–10+ years of experience in B2B sales
- Proven experience selling professional services and consulting engagements
- Demonstrated success acquiring net-new logos in complex, consultative sales environments
- Full sales-cycle experience, including sourcing, qualification, negotiation, and close
- Track record of selling to executive and C-suite stakeholders
- Experience selling data, analytics, technology, or GenAI consulting services strongly preferred
- Polished, credible executive presence and communication style
- Strong collaboration skills with leadership, technical, and delivery teams
- Strong awareness of data, analytics, AI, cloud trends, and deep understanding of data-driven business outcomes
