Recruitment Office at the Schulich School of Music

Position Summary:

The Student Recruitment Office at the Schulich School of Music is seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and outgoing student to join our team as a Social Media Ambassador. This unique role combines the responsibilities of a traditional student ambassador with content creation and social media engagement. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who enjoys connecting with people, has a strong understanding of social media platforms and trends, and is excited about showcasing the student experience to prospective students.

While this ambassador position has a distinct focus (social media), all ambassadors are part of a unified team. You will work closely with one another, attend team meetings, contribute to group brainstorming sessions, and support each other’s efforts during major recruitment events.

Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities

  • Currently enrolled as a student or recent former student at the Schulich School of Music.

  • Outgoing, reliable, and enthusiastic about sharing your student experience with others.

  • Familiarity with social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.

  • Creative eye for storytelling through photos, videos, and written posts.

  • Comfortable speaking in front of groups and giving tours.

  • Team player with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
