About the Role:
Corus has an exciting opportunity to hire a Revenue Manager, Audiences for a 12 month Contract. Reporting to the Director, Revenue Management, you will oversee a team of 6 analysts and be responsible for establishment and maintenance of audience projections/posts across all Conventional and Specialty television.
You will contribute by:
- Oversee establishment of audience projections across all Conventional and Specialty selling options, driving commitments to agencies and advertisers.
- Monitor performance against projections/commitments and proactively manage schedule changes and selling options to deliver
- Ongoing analysis to continue to evolve including projection insights, format adjustments and selling structure review.
- Assist with the design, execution and analysis of reporting tools for all stakeholders
- Present RM concepts/processes/achievements to cross functional teams and leadership groups
- Provide analysis and recommendations on long total run time, programming changes and new acquisitions.
- Provide timely estimate and post analysis to assist in preserving and growing revenue.
- Manage workflow and prioritization for team (eg. critical path)
- Provide coaching, guidance and oversight to the Audience Analysts
- Work closely with internal teams such as Content, Research, IM and Sales to best understand challenges and opportunities – always with the sight on revenue and audience achievements
- Collaborate daily with RM Manager, Pricing and RM Supervisor to help maximize and retain revenue.
- Lead RM projects and support RM Director on special projects
- Manage S4M testing and review
Skills and experience you bring:
- 8+ years’ experience working with advertising agencies or other broadcasters
- University or College degree required, specific degree in broadcast media, business, marketing or related program considered an asset
- Solid understanding of the revenue management process specific to the television broadcasting industry; including but not limited to projecting and pricing
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point)
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to always maintain a professional approach
- Ability to multi-task under tight deadlines
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to be decisive in the moment
- Strong initiative, time management, and project management skills
- Knowledge of S4M, Infosys and PROL+ an asset
- Enthusiastic work ethic and proactive approach with the ability to embrace change
