Job Description
Our member company is looking for a hardworking 309A Licensed Service Electrician, based in the Ottawa, ON, region to join their team.
Qualifications & Requirements
Certified Electrical Journeyperson Minimum 5+ years of experience Valid driver's license Demonstrated ability to work safely and in compliance with regulations Reliable and dependable (punctual and ready to work) Ability to take initiative and work independently as well as part of a team Excellent communication skills Availability Monday to Friday, including after-hours service calls and weekends as required
Key Responsibilities
Ensure all work complies with ESA regulations and local building codes Diagnose faults in electrical and electronic components Troubleshoot and repair residential electrical systems, including: Plugs and switches Electrical panels Underground and overhead hydro services Lighting systems EV chargers Generators Solar systems Troubleshoot and repair commercial electrical systems, including: Low-voltage equipment PLC-controlled systems Electrical circuits Reading and interpreting electrical prints Install fixtures and devices for industrial applications and systems Order required parts and manage job materials using the company computer system Complete work orders according to client specifications Review completed work with customers to ensure full satisfaction Work Environment
Residential, commercial, and industrial job sites Service-based and project-based work Independent and team-oriented assignments
Benefits & Compensation
Hourly Wage: $44-$48 per hour (based on experience) Competitive compensation package Steady work opportunities Supportive and professional team environment
