Job Description Provider Coordinator Location: Hong Kong Permanent Full time Hybrid working We make health happen Bupa Global is the international health insurance division of Bupa. We provide customers who want premium international coverage with products and services to access the healthcare they need anytime, around the world, whether at home or when studying, living, travelling or working abroad.
Bupa Global has offices around the world including London and Brighton (UK), Dublin (Europe), Miami (USA), Dubai (UAE, in partnership with OIC), Egypt and Hong Kong (China) as well as regional offices in mainland China, Singapore, the Dominican Republic, Bolivia, Panama, Guatemala and Ecuador.
How You’ll Help Us Make Health Happen
- To manage claim reconciliations in the region and share the investigated reports with clear explanation of Bupa Global Decisions with Network Managers for any negotiations taken forward with the provider.
- To investigate statements of outstanding accounts from participating providers with the provider services teams.
- Updating the network list monthly to be shared with the internal stakeholders.
- To handle complaints received from client managers/ members/ Customer Services team/ Provider Mailbox and coordinate internally with stakeholders and Network Managers for resolutions and update the complaints tracker.
- Work positively in association with internal stakeholders, especially in Healthcare Services, Claims and Bupa Global.
- Set expectations with providers on incoming queries on reconciliation and turnaround times.
Key Skills/Qualifications Needed For This Role
- Bachelor’s degree or above in healthcare or related discipline
- Background in the global/ local health insurance market, or relevant transferable skills and knowledge from other financial services industries such as Life Insurance, Retail, hospital or clinic, Commercial or Investment Banking and Wealth Management.
- Previous experience of a complex and multi skilled customer facing roles within a contact centre setting
- A track record of achieving and exceeding productivity and quality targets
- Excellent communication, organisational and analytical skills
- Fluent in English, Cantonese, and English
- Advanced knowledge with MS offices
