What You’ll Do
Reporting directly to the LTC Business & Quality Integration Manager, the Administrative Assistant LTC will work closely with the Long-Term Care homes, and the respective home leadership teams, to provide a full range of administrative support.
What We’re Looking For
Education & Experience
- Two-year post-secondary diploma in Business or Office Administration
- Two years of previous experience in a key administrative role
Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge and experience in community, retirement and long-term care sectors would be considered an asset
- Knowledge of government and sector issues within long-term care an asset
- Ability to understand and synthesize information related to the long-term care sector
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to effectively communicate (both written and verbal with internal and external stakeholders)
- Ability to write moderately complex correspondence including memos, agendas and letters
- Demonstrated time management skills
- Ability to multi-task and organize/prioritize various ongoing projects
- High flexibility with strong interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse and changing environment
- High level of integrity and work ethic
- Meticulous records maintenance skills
- Customer service orientated, displaying confidence and exceptional social skills
- Ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically and professionally
- Clean Vulnerable Sector Criminal Reference Check
What We Offer
- Competitive Salary: $60,333 - $70,980 per annum
- Hours per week: 35 hours
