About the role

The Operations Manager is responsible for the overall management and enhancement of boutique operations in accordance with Van Cleef & Arpels and Richemont guidelines, policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance. As a member of the Boutique management team, the Operations manager actively participates and contributes to the overall team and the Boutique’s success. As an Operations Manager, one must be a true leader in the boutique, sharing VCA values with the teams and acting as a true Ambassador of the Maison.

Responsibilities

An Operations Manager plans, schedules, and ensures effective and timely presentation of all administration, inventory, operations and logistics within the boutique. The Operations Manager ensures proper understanding and execution of all brand guidelines and procedures related to store operations with their team and monitors daily financial aspects of boutique sales – ensuring daily transactions and proper paperwork are submitted to the Corporate office/Richemont in a timely manner and with accuracy. The Boutique Manager also manages supplier coordination, daily maintenance of the boutique and supply replenishment. The Operations Manager motivates, supports and develops the Vault team by regularly conducting team meetings, ensuring staff is aware of new projects, upcoming events and potential issues. The Operations Manager is also responsible for the boutique stock and inventory – ensuring all inventories and counts are done in total compliance with Richemont guidelines and report on any potential issues. The Operations Manage will ensure audit and action plan follow up and monitor all aspects of product movement and stock maintenance. The Operations Manager is also responsible for training all new Boutique team members on financial guidelines, Richemont operations and all process related to sales. The Operations Manager pays attention to working conditions and develops action plans to improve them if necessary and is responsible for daily set up and unset of the Boutique for Opening and Closing. Additionally, the Operations Manager collaborates with Richemont security management to improve the security efficiency in the boutique.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree and/or four to five years of working in management in a fast-paced luxury environment is preferred. An Operations Manager must have excellent understanding of the luxury client experience, capacity to manage several projects simultaneously and in a timely manager and a strong understanding of Operations, Security and IT. The role requires prior management experience, strong computer skills, and strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Applicants must have valid work authorization for employment in Canada.

Expected Salary Range: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 annually. Salary will be determined based on relevant skills and experience.
