Your role
- Develop and implement business growth strategies to meet annual targets in loans, deposits, cash management, and new client acquisition.
- Deliver an exceptional client experience by offering tailored, full-service financial solutions with the goal of becoming each client’s primary financial partner.
- Assess and manage credit risk in collaboration with the credit team, ensuring sound decision-making aligned with the Bank’s risk appetite.
- Lead, coach, and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a psychologically safe, inclusive, and engaging work environment.
- Promote cross-functional collaboration and embody the Bank’s values as a change leader and relationship builder.
Your Team
The Director, Commercial Relationships will lead a team of 4-6 Relationship Managers and collaborate with many specialists who work in an agile, proactive, and collaborative way to seize opportunities, stay ahead of the curve, and continuously improve our processes.
Within the Tri-cities sector, you’ll be part of a dynamic team and report to the Sr AVP & Market Lead, Tri-cities District. Our team stands out for its entrepreneurial spirit, client proximity, and commitment to excellence. We aim to offer you maximum flexibility to support your quality of life, including a hybrid work environment and adaptable scheduling.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce, finance, or accounting, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial lending, including team leadership and execution of profitable sales strategies.
- Strong knowledge of credit risk management and banking compliance practices.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse business clientele.
- Recognized for your empowering leadership style and ability to coach and develop talent.
