We are seeking qualified Civil / Structural Engineers to join our site team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-profile construction program, support field operations, and help ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the on-site engineering representative supporting civil and structural construction activities.
  • Provide technical oversight and guidance to contractors and construction teams in the field.
  • Interpret and communicate engineering drawings, specifications, and design changes.
  • Monitor construction progress to ensure alignment with design, schedule, and quality standards.
  • Identify and help resolve field issues, including constructability challenges and design discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with design engineers, project managers, and other disciplines to ensure seamless execution.
  • Review and support RFIs (Requests for Information), field change requests, and as-built documentation.
  • Conduct field inspections and verify work is completed in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
  • Support quality assurance and quality control processes on site.
  • Ensure compliance with site safety standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in the heavy industrial or mining industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation preferred.
  • Experience in construction site engineering, field support, or ramp-up projects.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a dynamic construction environment.
