Job Title: AP & Logistics Analyst (Maternity Coverage 12-18 months)
Reports To: Source Trucking Manager & Carrier Manager
Location: Calgary, AB
Position Summary:
The AP & Logistics Analyst supports the organization by working with third party carriers daily and ensuring sales orders, tickets and any other related items are in order. This position will play a key role in ensuring the Last Mile team provides all necessary analytics to our Operations and Financial teams.

What You’ll Be Doing:
-
Communicate effectively and efficiently with cross-functional teams, including those from internal stakeholders from all business units, and external stakeholders including interfacing with Source’s carriers on a daily basis;
-
Ensure carrier invoices are appropriately matched to Purchase Orders;
-
Create sales orders for billable charges;
-
Interface with internal Dispatch system (Rook);
-
Analyzing additional trucking charges including standby, top ups, daily mins;
-
Managing month end accruals;
-
Understand rail and trucking logistics from our mines in Wisconsin and remote Field Solutions well sites in Western Canada;
-
Other applicable duties as assigned or ad hoc duties required.
Who We’re Looking For:
-
Minimum 2 years of proven experience in a data entry focused role;
-
Previous exposure/experience to creating sales orders an asset;
-
Excellent analytical skills with a focus on ability to generate information from spreadsheets; a strong affinity for attention to detail is a must;
-
Ability to multi-task and independently problem solve striving towards continuous improvement;
-
Ability to take raw data and refine that into useful and accurate information by which business decisions can be made;
-
A high performer who is strongly motivated to meet deadlines;
-
Must excel in a team-oriented environment;
-
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite with a focus on Excel;
-
Ability to manage time effectively, set priorities and meet deadlines with strong organization skills;
-
Ability to learn, adapt to change and be flexible in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment.

About Source Energy Services Ltd.
Source is a fully integrated producer, supplier, and distributor of high quality frac sand, primarily to the WCSB. Source provides its customers with a full end-to-end solution through its Wisconsin mines and processing facilities, its Domestic sand mine in Peace River, its unit train capable rail assets, its strategically located transload terminal network, and its "last-mile" logistics capabilities. Source's full-service approach allows customers to rely on its logistics capabilities to increase reliability of supply and to ensure the timely delivery of their growing frac sand requirements. In addition to its transload terminal network and in-basin storage capabilities, Source has also developed the Sahara, a proprietary wellsite mobile sand storage and handling system.
Source owns and operates a Northern White frac sand mine and related closed-loop wet processing plant located in east-central Barron County near the town of Sumner, Wisconsin, a Northern White frac sand mine and related closed-loop wet processing plant, which includes three washing circuits, dry processing plant and unit train capable loadout facility, located near Blair, Wisconsin , a dry processing plant, storage and loadout facility located in Weyerhaeuser, Wisconsin, and a Northern White frac sand mine and related closed-loop wet processing plant, dry processing plant, and loadout facility, located near Blair, Wisconsin. Early in 2022, Source assumed all operations, distribution, and sale of domestic frac sand from a facility in Peace River, AB. This transaction provided Source with the opportunity to integrate Peace River frac sand into Source's leading distribution network resulting in low-cost production with significant logistical advantage and ensures efficiency of supply for our customers while expanding the company's footprint and product offerings as well.
