Spadina Animal Hospital is seeking a proactive, experienced, and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team part-time. Strong client communication skills and previous experience in a similar position are essential for this role.

What You'll Do
Greet clients and patients with warmth, compassion, and professionalism. Answer incoming calls and respond promptly to voicemail messages. Schedule appointments and efficiently manage a multi-doctor calendar. Check patients in and out while ensuring client and patient information remains accurate. Collect payments, process invoices, and review treatment estimates with clients. Manage medical record requests, appointment reminders, and routine administrative tasks. Handle client concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating issues when appropriate. Make outbound calls, texts, and emails to confirm appointments and follow up on patient care. Maintain accurate patient records and document all client communications. Support teammates with additional tasks to help each day run smoothly.
What You'll Bring
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience as a Veterinary Receptionist is required. Excellent client service and communication skills. Comfort learning and using veterinary practice management software, especially Avimark. Strong attention to detail when maintaining patient records and documenting client communications. Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities. The ability to remain calm, compassionate, and professional in a fast-paced environment. A proactive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed. A positive, team-first mindset that contributes to a supportive and upbeat culture.
