Contract: Initial 12-Month Contract Weekly rate: CAD 5000/week Schedule: 6 Days per Week (Monday–Saturday) | 8-Hour Standard Day | Up to 10 Hours per Day Travel Requirement: 90–100% Travel Across Project Locations
The Opportunity
We are seeking experienced Quality Technicians and Site Quality Leads to support major onshore wind farm construction projects across Eastern Canada.
Working as the onsite representative of the Quality Manager, you will take ownership of all quality-related activities during construction, ensuring compliance with project standards, quality procedures, and industry best practices. This is an excellent opportunity for quality professionals with wind, renewable energy, power generation, heavy industrial, or large-scale construction experience who enjoy working in a dynamic site-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate onsite quality activities throughout construction Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and escalate critical quality issues Conduct and coordinate First Article Inspections and audits Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems and IMS procedures Act as the primary quality contact for site management, contractors, and stakeholders Monitor inspector performance and support workforce planning requirements Produce quality reports, documentation, and site records Promote a strong culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement Essential Requirements Fluent in both English and French (mandatory) Experience within Quality Assurance (QA) and/or Quality Control (QC) Strong reporting, documentation, and communication skills Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics Previous construction site experience Full valid driving licence Eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship Comfortable working at heights of up to 100 metres and within wind turbine environments Preferred Experience Wind turbine assembly or wind farm construction experience ASQ Certification ISO Auditor Certification Engineering or Technical Degree (or equivalent experience) 3+ years of relevant quality experience Experience using Upvise or similar digital quality platforms Equipment Requirements Candidates must provide:
- Pickup Truck / 4x4 Vehicle (equivalent to Ford F150)
- Laptop
- Smartphone with quality camera
- Mobile reception device
Required Certifications
The following certifications must be valid prior to mobilisation: First Aid / CPR Site Safety Orientation Working at Heights / Climb & Rescue (where applicable) NFPA70E or CSA Z462 Electrical Safety Training (if working within turbines) Appropriate PPE and Arc-Rated Clothing
