About This Opportunity

The Make Ready Centre (MRC) Refrigeration Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the proper functioning of Cold Drink Equipment cooling systems sent into the MRC for repair. They are responsible for maintaining, repairing, and upgrading refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Perform refrigeration repairs and maintenance on cold drink equipment systems
  • Troubleshoot mechanical failures to ensure that the systems operate efficiently
  • Upgrade systems to meet new safety standards and regulations
  • Maintain clean and safe work area
  • Operate Lift Truck / Pallet Mover

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1 year of refrigeration experience required
  • Refrigeration Technician Mechanic License Required
  • Lift Truck experience an asset but not required
  • Pallet Mover Experience would be an asset
