WHAT’S THE TEAM LIKE
Financial Planning & Analysis team is the trusted partner for each business unit and provides financial advice, expertise, and insights to support operational and strategic decision-making. The team is comprised of driven finance professionals who strive for financial and operational excellence and exceptional customer service, challenge the status quo, and focus on continuous improvement.
WHAT ARE SOME OF THE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Contribute to the development of financial forecasts and the annual budgeting process.
- Analyze budget-to-actual variances to uncover key performance drivers and emerging trends.
- Contribute to a variety of management reporting tasks to support strategic decision-making.
- Create clear and compelling reports, charts, and visual summaries to communicate financial insights.
- Develop tailored financial reports, dashboards, and models in Oracle EPBCS to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
- Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support for Oracle EPBCS functionalities and user issues.
- Support the development of business cases by evaluating financial impacts of new initiatives and contractual agreements.
- Conduct financial assessments and calculate returns for proposed agreements and partnerships.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING

- A Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting or Finance is required. Relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- 2 to 4 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis.
- Experience with data visualization and analytics tools is an asset, with the ability to work with and present data clearly. Familiarity with tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint for professional communication and presentations.
- Working knowledge of Oracle ERP and EPM systems is preferred.
- Proficient in statistical analysis and mathematical modeling to support data-driven decision-making.
- Strong understanding of core finance principles, including Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), nominal vs. real values, debt structures, interest and future value calculations, and currency exchange mechanisms.
WHAT ADDITIONAL SKILLS ARE AN ASSET
- Bilingual in English and French
- Working towards a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation or similar is preferred.
