About the role

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, TD Place, the Marketing Coordinator, Digital Media & Events supports digital coverage and promotion of events across TD Place and Lansdowne. This role executes announcements, on-sales, and event campaigns, while providing event-day support to enhance fan experience and position TD Place and Lansdowne as Ottawa’s premier entertainment destination. The coordinator must thrive in a fast-paced environment and be available to support assigned events, including evenings and weekends.

This part-time, contract role has an hourly rate of $22/hr. This is a new position and offers the flexibility to work fully on-site or in a hybrid work arrangement for ten (10) hours a week.

What you’ll do:

  • Capture live event footage at TD Place and Lansdowne for use across social and digital platforms.
  • Manage TD Place social channels, supporting announcements, event promotion, on-sales, and showcasing Lansdowne’s community, energy, and lifestyle.
  • Engage and collaborate with TD Place sports teams (Ottawa REDBLACKS, Ottawa 67’s) on content and coverage.
  • Support promotion of OSEG Foundation, Human Resources, broader OSEG content support, and tenant teams (Atlético Ottawa, Ottawa Rapid, Ottawa Charge, Ottawa BlackJacks) across TD Place social platforms.
  • Provide on-site support for theme nights and key events as needed.
  • Create and publish real-time content during events.
  • Capture mobile video of event atmosphere, behind-the-scenes moments, and fan experiences for stories and digital use.
  • Highlight concourse activations (e.g., autograph signings, merchandise, food & beverage, live entertainment).
  • Support giveaways and social media activations.
  • Partner with the marketing team to develop fresh, on-trend content ideas with a focus on atmosphere and fan experience.
  • Contribute to overall brand creativity by bringing forward new ideas and actively participating in the Brand & Marketing team.
  • Support event promotion, listings, and execution.
  • Provide administrative support, including file/photo organization and feedback collection.
  • Label, organize, and archive photos and footage within Dropbox.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What’s needed:

  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Media, Advertising, Communications, Event Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 0–2 years of relevant experience in marketing, content creation, or event support.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high level of professionalism; ability to conduct oneself professionally around entertainers, performers, and athletes.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude, with the ability and desire to work as part of a multifunctional team; proactive and adaptable.
  • Flexibility to travel as required.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Photo and/or video content creation experience is an asset.
  • Demonstrated alignment with the OSEG Foundation mission and values is an asset.
  • Bilingualism in English and French is an asset.
