Established in 1991, ACI advocates for airports’ interests with governments and international organizations such as ICAO, develops industry standards and recommended practices, and provides training to enhance airport service quality worldwide.
Role Overview:
The Graphic Designer is an innovative and creative professional who supports the ACI World Marketing and Communications team by producing high-quality visual materials for publications, social media, marketing campaigns, board and public-facing content, global events, and other organizational needs. This role strengthens ACI World’s brand presence, ensures visual consistency, and contributes to impactful communication across digital and print channels. The designer works collaboratively with colleagues across the team to transform ideas, data, and technical content into clear and engaging visual communications.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Digital
- Create visual assets for social media, website content, email campaigns, presentations, digital marketing initiatives and all other requests.
- Develop illustrations, diagrams, icons, and data visualizations to simplify complex information.
- Deliver polished, production-ready artwork that meets high-quality standards.
2. Publications
- Design and layout ACI World publications, including reports, white papers, guidance documents, and other long-form materials.
- Apply ACI World’s visual standards, accessibility requirements, and brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with content leads to transform technical information into clear, engaging layouts.
- Prepare print-ready and digital files with accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail.
- Create supporting launch collateral, such as banners and promotional assets.
3. Marketing Materials
- Produce marketing collateral including brochures, one-pagers, infographics, advertisements, and campaign assets.
- Support marketing initiatives with creative concepts tailored to diverse audiences and channels.
- Adapt content for multiple formats and platforms to maximize reach and engagement.
- Create on-brand layouts and visual assets for form pages and landing pages.
4. Event Branding & Collateral
- Develop event materials such as signage, banners, programs, stage graphics, booth designs, presentation templates, and promotional assets.
- Ensure a cohesive visual identity for all ACI World conferences and meetings.
- Design artwork for event merchandise and promotional items, ensuring production accuracy and quality.
5. Presentation Design for the Director General
- Create and refine high-impact presentations for the ACI World Director General.
- Translate complex content, data, and policy topics into visually compelling slide decks.
- Tailor presentations to specific events, audiences, and ACI World brand standards.
6. Brand Consistency & Workflow
- Uphold ACI World’s brand identity across all visual outputs.
- Manage multiple design projects while supporting Marketing and Communications priorities.
- Contribute creative ideas to enhance publications, campaigns, and event presence.
Technical Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong graphic design expertise with experience supporting digital channels, publications, communications products, and marketing campaigns.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and tools such as Figma or Canva.
- Experience with motion design, including simple animations for social media, presentations, and digital campaigns.
- Solid understanding of layout, typography, branding, colour theory, and visual hierarchy.
- Ability to interpret and visualize complex information clearly and effectively.
- Knowledge of print production processes, including preparing files for external printers and designing print-ready artwork for booths, merchandise, and large-format applications.
- Understanding of responsive web and landing page design principles (no coding required).
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high-quality, polished outputs.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to incorporate feedback constructively.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills; ability to balance shifting priorities and tight deadlines. Experience with project management tools such as Monday.com.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team.
- Tech-savvy and constantly tracking new trends, tools, and innovations to stay ahead.
