New Grad - Junior Account Coordinator

The Industrial Services division works closely with our Industrial customers to provide meaningful value to their operations and revenue from the scrap metal they generate. As a full-service metal recycling partner, we leverage our technical expertise, creative solutions and integrity to capture market share in the Canadian manufacturing, construction, and industrial segments we serve.
Here’s where you come in…
We are seeking a dynamic and organized individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will go beyond the traditional administrative tasks and play a key role in supporting various aspects of our operations. You will be responsible for providing a positive experience for internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and ensure the accuracy of records and documents
- Receive and respond to customer inquiries
- Process and analyze data to ensure accuracy of information
- Develop and maintain databases, spreadsheets, and other organizational tools
- Monitor and respond to emails and phone calls in a timely manner
- Prepare and distribute documents, reports, and correspondence
- Maintain office supplies and equipment
- Perform other related duties as assigned
What will make you a valued member of our team?
- Post-secondary education in business, administration, or a related field
- A minimum of 1 years of administrative experience is considered an asset
- Strong customer service orientation, with tact and sound judgment when dealing with demanding or challenging situations
- Demonstrated ability and eagerness to learn, with a desire for ongoing growth and development
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to meet tight deadlines during both regular and peak periods, including handling last-minute requests
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong task prioritization skills
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including basic arithmetic skills
