Talent Acquisition Specialist - 1 FT
About the role
This position promotes the growth and development of First Nations employment by leading SIGA’s Recruitment Portfolio, with primary responsibility for Employer Branding and Recruitment Strategy execution, while also supporting recruitment operations, workforce planning, and related Talent Acquisition initiatives.
Leading and executing SIGA’s Recruitment Portfolio, including employer branding, talent attraction, outreach, and recruitment strategy implementation with frequent over-night travel required (up to 20% at times). Serving as a key resource to Central Office hiring managers and Casino HR departments by supporting workforce planning, staffing, and recruitment activities. Managing and promoting SIGA’s employer brand and candidate pipelines to support current and future workforce needs. Supporting full-cycle recruitment activities, advisory services, and Talent Acquisition projects as required to advance SIGA’s First Nations employment mandate and organizational priorities.
Successful completion of a bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Commerce; Human Resources major preferred Registered Professional Recruiter (RPR) designation is considered an asset Several years of directly related experience and training may be considered Two years Human Resource generalist experience and direct experience with small projects related to recruitment and staffing Experience consulting with management Strong communication skills are considered an asset Understanding of local, provincial, and national labor market trends and changes Knowledge of digital recruitment strategies, avenues, and metrics Knowledge of Human Resource metrics and benchmarking processes

- Ability to obtain and maintain a Gaming Employee Certificate of Registration from the Saskatchewan Liquor Gaming Authority / Indigenous Gaming Regulators
- You must be legally entitled to work in Canada
