Job Description ROLE: Marketing Manager
REPORTS TO: Director of Marketing
LOCATION: BC (Burnaby)
We are looking for a Marketing Manager, to join our Sales & Marketing team! The role is responsible for working collaboratively with the team to lead, develop, and implement marketing programs and help build our amazing family of brands!
Opportunities In this role, you will have the chance to champion and manage a variety of marketing activities across the division. It this unique hybrid role where you will get the opportunity to manage brands within the Retail Grocery category! The primary objective of the role will be to develop and implement effective marketing programs to attract passionate consumers and customers to our brands. You will also play a lead role in bringing product innovation ideas to life from conception to launch. Our leading brands in your portfolio include Happy Planet, Happy Planet Creamery & a2 Milk™.

- You have experience developing and executing marketing strategies, objectives, and KPI’s
- You have proven knowledge in all areas within the marketing discipline including digital marketing and launching new products
Experience
- You have 5-10 years of experience in a Consumer Packaged Goods marketing role
- You have a Degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline
- You are proficient with MS Office with an emphasis on Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and MS Teams
- You have experience with Google Analytics, WordPress, and social media platforms
- You have consumer marketing experience in the food industry and have a proven ability to work closely with sales and directly with customers where required

- Solid understanding of the Retail Grocery channel in Canada
- Interest in Health & Wellness products and a healthy lifestyle

- Support the Marketing team to perform at a high level and put action plans in place to meet business targets and growth objectives
- Develop and execute annual Marketing plans
- Own the Marketing expense budget and tracking
- Assume lead role in all new product innovations and ensure cross functional alignment for flawless execution
- Provide thought leadership to the organization in the key areas of brand management, marketing, product innovation and customer requests
- Identify and implement areas for improvement within the marketing function

- Attendance at industry events and trade shows as needed

Detailed Description Of DutieS
- Responsible for developing annual marketing plans and executing against them
- Ownership of the Marketing Budget and responsibility for spending and tracking
- Has P&L responsibility for brand performance
- Manages all product innovation from concept to in-market execution
- Leads the brand strategy across defined portfolio
- Manages all facets of Social Media platforms and develops and recommends strategies to grow the user base for our brands
- Works closely with agency partners to develop winning marketing strategies across all 4 P’s of marketing
- Key media contact for brand related enquiries
