https://middlesackvilleveterinarycarecentre.ca/We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated full-time RVT to join our team of skilled professionals at Middle Sackville Veterinary Care Centre, a well-established, privately owned and respected veterinary clinic. You will have the opportunity to work alongside a compassionate team and play a vital role in providing the highest standard of care to our patients.Key Responsibilities:Assist with exams and diagnostic proceduresAdminister medications, injections, and treatments as prescribedPerform lab tests, including blood work and urinalysisMonitor anesthesia and assist in surgical proceduresProvide client education and ensure clear communication regarding treatment plans Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical recordsHelp with inventory management and ordering of suppliesFoster a compassionate environment for both patients and clientsQualifications:Must be a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in Nova ScotiaExperience is preferred but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn will be consideredStrong knowledge of veterinary medical procedures, pharmacology, and anesthesia Excellent communication skills with both clients and team membersAbility to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsA compassionate, out going, team-oriented attitudeBenefits:Competitive salary based on experienceComprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 5 weeks paid time off, and RRSP contribution (no match required)Continuing education opportunitiesDiscounted veterinary care for your pets A supportive, fun, team-oriented workplace cultureThink you'd be a great fit?
