Associate Manager, Data Operations

(1 year Contract)

How you will make a difference:

Reporting to the Manager, Data Operations, the Associate Manager, Data Operations is responsible to assist in the management and execution of employee data, gift processing and operational functions to support UWGT’s objectives, strategies and fundraising initiatives.

  • Manage assigned data, project and production work required to support the campaign ensuring execution in a timely, efficient and effective manner with high quality results (e.g. PPP, Easy Secure, pledge forms, solicitation packages, etc.)
  • Use United Way systems to produce accurate information for mass production processes such as solicitation, acknowledgment, recognition and communications. Provide quality assurance and observations of the data to support campaign processes and donor communications. Ensure consistent use of data.
  • Aid in the production of reports to support key business decisions and processes using existing reports/downloads; identify reporting requirements; work with IT to test new reports and validate results
  • Perform ongoing database maintenance to meet CRM objectives including record merges, data integrity checks and clean-up
  • Adhere to policies, procedures and protocols including privacy, records management, data integrity standards, CRM practices, Finance processes etc. Assist other staff to ensure compliance.
  • Participate in the development and continuous improvement of processes and their implementation
  • Participate in the testing of new system releases, enhancements and reports to ensure system and processes work as intended
  • Respond to staff inquiries on operational and gift management processes, projects and functionality; train staff on operational processes as required
  • Contribute to intra and interdepartmental projects as required

What you bring to the role:

  • 1- 3 years of experience with database systems
  • Advanced knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft office products
  • Strong analytical skills including the ability to develop effective tracking and reporting tools
  • Proven organizational abilities and the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Commitment to customer service
  • Proven ability to take initiative and carry projects to completion with minimum supervision
  • Excellent teamwork, interpersonal and constituent service skills including the ability to work respectfully and inclusively with a diverse employee population
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion
  • Excellent attention to detail and proven track record of accuracy
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Customer Relationship Management system experience is an asset
  • Willingness to actively contribute to the organizational Reconciliation and Equity framework through participation in learning opportunities and implementing anti-oppressive, and anti-racist learning into action internally and externally
