Key Lake, located in northern Saskatchewan, is the world’s largest high-grade uranium mill. The uranium milled at Key Lake is used for nuclear fuel products, which utilities around the world rely on to generate safe, reliable, emissions-free nuclear power. Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to power a secure energy future.
Position and Responsibilities
Reporting to the site services supervisor, you will be responsible for operating a variety of mobile equipment to maintain the site, roads, and airport in a safe and effective manner. You will perform a variety of general labour duties to support Key Lake operations.
Education and Qualifications
Requirements of the position:
- minimum grade 12 or equivalent;
- one to three years of relevant work experience;
- equivalent combination of education and work experience considered;
- experience on loaders (various sizes), sand trucks, bus, road roller, skid steer, and vac truck;
- willingness to perform manual labour as required; and
- work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft.
Assets:
- valid Class 1A license; and valid Class 2 license.
Conditions of Employment:
- pre-employment substance test.
This is a three-month temporary position.
